<P align=center><FONT size=3> "First Friday" of each month is a celebration of the arts in downtown Canton. There will be no performance of "Christopher Pop-In-Kins, the musical" on that night. </FONT><FONT size=3>Instead, Santa and Mrs. Claus will read </FONT>
<P align=center><FONT size=3>Flora Johnson's "Christopher Pop-In-Kins <EM>POPS IN</EM>". Copies of the book will be signed by illustrator Brian Bradway. Plus Christmas crafts, caroling, food, and fun for the whole family. </FONT>

<P align=center><FONT size=5><U>ABOUT CHRISTOPHER POP-IN-KINS</U></FONT>
<P align=center><FONT color=#000000 size=4>The character, story, and tradition of Christopher Pop-In-Kins was created by Flora Johnson of Atwater, Ohio in 1985. Since then, thousands of families have brought this special elf into their homes during the holiday season. </FONT>
<P align=center><FONT size=4><FONT color=#000000>According to her story, Christopher Pop-In-Kins dreams of visiting the "<SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1222316117_5>Children's World</SPAN>". Santa grants the young elf's wish and makes Christopher the very first Children's Christmas Elf. He is to "pop in" to children's homes in late November and stay until <SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1222316117_6 style="CURSOR: hand; BORDER-BOTTOM: #0066cc 1px dashed">Christmas Eve</SPAN>. Before Santa leaves on his yearly journey, Christopher must return to the <SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1222316117_7 style="CURSOR: hand; BORDER-BOTTOM: #0066cc 1px dashed">North Pole</SPAN> with a report about each child.</FONT></FONT>

<P align=center><FONT size=5><U>ABOUT THE MUSICAL</U></FONT>
<P align=center><FONT size=4><FONT color=#000000>Christopher is different from the other elves: he is too short, his ears are too big,...AND he dreams about more than just making toys. (Something that is discouraged by the elder elves.) When an evil elf tries to stop <SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1222316117_8>Christmas</SPAN> by melting the North Pole, Christopher is able to use his differences to save the other elves, <SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1222316117_9 style="BACKGROUND: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; CURSOR: hand; BORDER-BOTTOM: #0066cc 1px dashed">Santa Claus</SPAN>, and the holiday. In return, Santa grants Christopher's wish to visit the "Children's World" by appointing the special elf "the very first Children's Christmas Elf". </FONT></FONT>

<P align=center><FONT size=4>A large cast is needed. Age 8 through adult. </FONT>
<P align=center><FONT size=4>All roles are open and include Christopher, Mr. and Mrs. Claus, Bob Humbug, Elves, Reindeer, <SPAN>Snowpeople</SPAN>, and other inhabitants of the North Pole. </FONT>
