<div dir="ltr">Out of fairness to all Actors' Equity Association (AEA) artists, I would like to share a couple of facts that were not yet mentioned in this exchange.</div>

<div dir="ltr">I have no idea who the actor is in this case, but I do know that Cesear's Forum employs AEA actors under a <strong><em>Special Appearance Agreement</em></strong>, which provides a rule allowing actors to take <strong><em>"more remunerative employment" </em></strong>with 48 hours notice. As I understand it, the actor gave Cesear's Forum 2 weeks notice.</div>

<div dir="ltr">You can argue the logic of that AEA provision all day long, but it was the actor's right to take that other gig. </div>

And if they don't then it will all be for money. I guess that during these times, money is both wonderful and disgusting, depending on which of your last virtues you sold for it. </strong></div>

<br>With casting approval by Edward Albee, the company was in the midst of rehearsing his<br><br>two-person <em>Marriage Play</em>, slated to open October 10th. With a sudden change of heart,<br><br>one of the principle Equity actors accepted a more lucrative commercial offering. "It<br>
<br>happens all the time," according to Artistic Director Greg Cesear, "but our salaries and<br><br>artistic opportunities are never in question when casting." Future production dates have <br><br>yet to be announced but early spring seems most likely.<br>
