Announces Open Auditions for <i>The Mikado<o:p></o:p></i></span></b></p>

<p class=NoParagraphStyle><b>(Jackson Township, OH – October 31, 2008)</b>
Kent State University Stark Theatre has announced open auditions for this
season’s musical <b><i>The Mikado</i></b>, by Arthur Sullivan and W.S.
Gilbert. Auditions will be held from 6-10 p.m. on November 16 and 17 in the
theater of the Fine Arts Building, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=NoParagraphStyle><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=NoParagraphStyle>The production will be performed on February 13, 14,
15, 20, 21 and 22 in the Kent State Stark Theatre. <b>Roles are available for
four women and five men, in addition to a large chorus of men and women and a
few older children. </b>Anyone auditioning needs to be familiar with a number
from the show or a piece in the same Gilbert and Sullivan style. Accompaniment
will be provided or those auditioning may bring their own. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=NoParagraphStyle>Scripts are available for periods of 24 hours from
the secretary of the Fine Arts Building, Monday through Friday, during business
hours. Appointments are required. Contact the Fine Arts secretary at
