Set in Arkansas in the 1920's, a wacky quintet of singers/musicians gather daily in Hazel C. Hunt’s Parlor to broadcast their rib-tickling songs and chatter on a radio transmitter (Station WGAL), which Hazel received as a retirement gift as a music teacher. But Hazel’s habit of “channel wandering” reaches listeners as far away as Montreal and Manhattan, attracting the federal government to rescue the airways from these interlopers.<BR></FONT></DIV>
