Cleveland Heights on Mayfield rd. near Taylor Rd) is in search of <strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">several men </span></strong>interested in
playing townspeople in
Bethlehem on the day after Christ's birth.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">Event:</span></u></b><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;"> "Journey to </span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">Bethlehem</span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">" is a walk through drama
placed in the </span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">Bethlehem</span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;"> marketplace the day after Christ's
birth. Guests walk through the marketplace and encounter shop keepers,
craftsmen, live animals and the manger as well as dramatic vignettes that tell
various pieces of the story. This annual event is <strong><u><span style="font-family: Arial;">ATTENDED BY 900 TO 1000 PEOPLE</span></u></strong>
who arrive, and cycle through, throughout the 3 hour time period.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;"> <b><u>Available
Acting Roles:</u></b></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 0.5in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">Individual exchanges are small (approximately 5 minutes
each) but are repeated intermittently as our guests cycle through the event. Some
actors may have two such parts and would rotate between them. Some of the
acting parts are staged in the marketplace as people walk through, while others
are staged in the sanctuary between musical interludes while guests wait their
turn to enter </span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">Bethlehem</span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">. Vignettes in the marketplace are
staged every 5 to 10 minutes. Sanctuary performances are every 20 minutes.
Adults are preferred. Minimal rehearsal would be required and would be
scheduled at a mutually agreeable time</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 0.5in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">Available parts include: a man who has an interchange with
his wife expressing his frustration with the Romans and his contempt for the
shepherds and their claims of angelic visitors, the innkeeper and a men who has
an exchange with him about a room, a tax collector and a man who has an angry exchange
with him about his taxes and King Herod who addresses the visitors on their way
to Bethlehem. All roles are scripted but some appropriate improvisation is OK.
Interchanges with guests are encouraged between times for the scripted parts. </span></p>
