<DIV><FONT face=Arial>I fell prey to one of these sites a number of years
ago. Well, not exactly fell prey. I got the very expensive software I needed,
but what it I got was a cracked version, for which I got no customer support,
online manuals, nothing. These are usually offshore companies, operating from
places that do not observe copyright laws, selling stuff that normally would
require obtaining a site license, dongle, or some other measure to keep you
honest that they have figured out a work-around for. And they are asking you to
pay for it. Instead of paying a pirate, you could just as easily do a search for
whatever software and the word "crack" or "keygen", and get the same results
without paying for it.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial>That's not something I would recommend, though. The
makers of the software don't get paid for their work. Another software you could
consider would be Movie Magic Screenwriter. Doing a google search for
scriptwriting software turned up a number of free applications that would do the
same. You can always download a PDF creator in order to output an industry
standard PDF version of the script so that folks who don't have the same
software as you can read it.</FONT></DIV>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt"><FONT
face=Calibri color=#000000 size=3>I wonder if any
screenwriters out there can advise me as to screenwriting
software. Specifically, I¢m looking to work with <B
style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">FINAL DRAFT 7</B>. From
all I¢ve seen and heard, it¢s the industry standard, and the
only one to use. The difficulty, however, is that the
software doesn¢t come cheap. </FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt"><FONT
face=Calibri color=#000000 size=3>Here's what I'm
considering: In my research, I stumbled onto a company that
sells downloadable software (</FONT><A

size=3>, and after reading their FAQ, it doesn¢t seem like a
bad way to go. As I understand it, their licensed to sell
software for download and private use only, at a fraction of
the price. You don¢t own a physical copy, but full use of
the software. </FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt"><FONT
face=Calibri color=#000000 size=3>I¢m interested to know if
anybody knows anything about this company and others like
it, as I¢m not entirely aware of this practice. Also
wondering if there are any drawbacks to using anything other
than the factory software?<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Finally, if anyone
knows otherwise, how I might acquire use of the software,
for preferably less than it would cost to purchase it, I¢d
be interested to know this, as well. Also, there seems to be
a few different versions available. They are: <B
style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Final Draft 7, Final
Draft 7.1.1.19,</B> as well as an Upgrade, and
an Introduction version, at a very reasonable rate.
