Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater is pleased to announce its premiere
education program musical, <I>Children of <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Eden</st1:place></st1:City>. </I><SPAN
style="mso-bidi-font-style: italic">T</SPAN>he goal of the program is to give
young performers the opportunity to work alongside experienced actors in a
high-quality theater production. “This is the perfect choice for our premiere
show because it portrays a phenomenal story and literally features every member
of the cast,” says Tim Anderson, newly-hired education director for the
Spotlights.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>“During a time when
public schools’ performing arts programs are being cut, the Spotlights’ Board of
Trustees unanimously agreed that we should provide a positive, creative outlet
for young performers.” <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt"><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial Narrow','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial">The
directing team also includes Deborah Ingersoll as music director and Tia
Zingale, a 17-year-old high-school student, as choreographer. In addition
to the cast, the orchestra also includes student musicians playing alongside
local professionals.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN><SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Likewise, student technicians will be
responsible for the behind-the-scenes components.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

cast features experienced, well-known <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City

<STRONG>Collier</STRONG>, <STRONG>Tim</STRONG> <STRONG>Allen</STRONG>, and
<STRONG>Amiee</STRONG> <STRONG>Collier</STRONG> in lead
roles. </SPAN></P>

show, written by <I>Wicked</I> and <I>Godspell </I>composer Stephen Schwartz,
retells the first eight chapters of the Book of Genesis. With a deeply
compelling storyline and family-friendly message, the show appeals to audiences
