Author Peter Knight is looking to revive his career by writing the stereotypical murder mystery in a rented Vermont house previously owned by an author who died in that house. A sudden lightning strike suddenly brings the characters on the typed page to life. Now Peter must deal with the Agatha Christie-type characters and the reading of an eccentric’s will.
