size=2>The workshop, taught by veteran actor and
director Douglas Anderson, will prepare new actors
for their theatrical audition by teaching them what to
expect during the audition process giving them the
confidence needed to make that first audition
step. Students will learn how to find and choose
appropriate monologues for auditions, and tips on how to
practice them for effective delivery. For those
who wish to participate in musicals, choosing an
appropriate song will also be covered as well as how and
where to find sheet music. Students in the
workshop will read from suggested scripts and receive
one-on-one coaching. The workshop is limited to 20
students. Preregistration is required and can be made by
calling the Arts Center at (440)
