a double dose of “The Master” of comic wit, Noel Coward, with<i>
Tonight at 8:30, </i>showing April 2-19, 2009.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:6.75pt'>Audiences will get to see two
one-act musical comedies in this unique production. First, in the fast-paced,
laugh-filled “Red Peppers,” a husband/wife song & dance team
scheme to keep their place on the vaudeville bill despite recalcitrant props,
personal spats and pushy producers. Then, in the poignant and charming
“Shadow Play,” a glamorous couple who are on the brink of divorce
relive happier, funnier times through a series of musical dreams.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:6.75pt'><span style='font-family:"Times","serif"'>Admirers
of </span>last season’s hit musical revue <i>Oh, Coward!</i> will
recognize c<span style='font-family:"Times","serif"'>lassic Noel Coward tunes
like “Has Anybody Seen Our Ship,” “You Were There” and
“Men About Town,” which come from these two </span><i>Tonight at
8:30 </i><span style='font-family:"Times","serif"'>vignettes.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:6.75pt'>Lisa Marie Schueller and Scott
Shriner, re-uniting after their appearance <i>Oh, Coward!</i>, will play
husband and wife in both plays, in the roles originated by Coward and Gertrude
Lawrence. Ms. Schueller has appeared locally at Porthouse Theatre,
Actors’ Summit, Carousel, Cleveland Stage Company and Ohio Shakespeare
Festival. Mr. Shriner has appeared extensively at Weathervane,
Actors’ Summit, The Bang and the Clatter and Ohio Shakespeare Festival.<span
style='font-family:"Times","serif"'><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:6.75pt'>The cast of<i> Tonight at 8:30 </i>also<i>
</i>includes several other top-notch Coach House veterans:<span

up the Sky</i> and Coward’s <i>Hay Fever</i> two seasons ago; Karen Wood,
previously appearing in <i>Light up the Sky</i> and <i>Steel Magnolias</i> this
season; Ron Cuirle, of <i>Hay Fever, Picasso at the Lapin Agile</i> and <i>Custer</i>;
Emily Haase, who appeared in last season’s <i>Drowning Sorrows; </i>and
Greg Bealer,<i> </i>who just completed our production of<i> Appointment with
Death</i>.<o:p></o:p></p>

style='font-family:"Times","serif"'>On the piano is Music Director John Ebner,
who also accompanied <i>Oh, Coward! </i>Mr. Ebner has also performed with Ohio
Shakespeare Festival and has worked extensively as a keyboardist, rehearsal
pianist and musical director.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify;text-indent:6.75pt'><i>Tonight at
8:30</i><span style='font-family:"Times","serif"'> is directed by</span><b>
Nancy Cates</b><span style='font-family:"Times","serif"'>. In her first
year as one of Coach House’s two Artistic Directors, Ms. Cates has
also directed Coach House's season opener, </span><i>Steel Magnolias</i><span
style='font-family:"Times","serif"'>, as well as </span><i>Barrymore’s
Ghost, </i><span style='font-family:"Times","serif"'>presented by Ohio
Shakespeare Festival</span><i>. </i><span style='font-family:"Times","serif"'> In
past seasons here she has directed <i>Driving Miss Daisy, Oh, Coward!</i>, and </span><i>Hay
Fever</i><span style='font-family:"Times","serif"'>. She is also one of the two
Artistic Directors of Ohio Shakespeare Festival, which performs each summer at
Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, as well as periodically at Coach House and the
Players Guild of Canton. </span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:6.75pt'><i>Tonight at 8:30 </i>will be
presented April 2 to April 19. Curtain times are Thursday, Friday and Saturday
at 8 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. There will be an added Saturday
matinee at 2:30 on Saturday, April 18 (there will be no performance Easter
Sunday, April 12). <o:p></o:p></p>

the title---if you actually come to the theater at 8:30, you’ll be late
