12.0pt'>Dobama Theatre kicked-off construction of their long-awaited new
theatre yesterday on the lower level of The Heights Arts Building at <st1:address
w:st="on"><st1:Street w:st="on">2340 Lee Road</st1:Street>, <st1:City w:st="on">Cleveland
Heights</st1:City></st1:address>. Capital Campaign contributors and Trustees
of the theatre and the CH/UH Library were in attendance at the ceremonial
commencement of construction. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

President Glenn Billington and lead donors: Barbara Hill-Newby and William
Newby, Maurice Heller, Spencer Caress, and Barbara Columbi were on hand to

Newby thanked donors and spoke of Dobama’s history in the community.
Managing Director, Dianne Boduszek and Artistic Director, Joel Hammer have
planned an exciting first season in the new theatre slated to open in the fall.
The new season includes five main stage productions and the 32<sup>nd</sup>
Annual Marilyn Bianchi Kids’ Playwriting Festival. A sneak peek at the
new theatre is scheduled for the summer and a Community Open House is slated
for Saturday, September 19, 2009.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
