Well, I know the Hegewalds. I worked with their son who is now at BYU, and I never heard a word of hate coming out of their mouths. The ad is a simple invitation to come and see the dance company. If one doesn;t want to, you don't have to.<BR> <BR>In this controversy I don't know who is worse. The people exercising their constitutional rights of free speech wanting to preserve the status quo as they see it, or the protesters stretching the limits of free speech and centuries old definitions of families. Personally, the activities of some of the same-sex marriage proponents that lobbied to get people fired from their jobs for their views reminded me of the blacklisting of artists sixty years ago for their political views. <BR> <BR>One should never try to take one's livelihood away from a man or woman.<BR> <BR>Fred, whom I think is very tolerant, and whose views I do not know, I don't think would censor or condone lobbying against any arts group of this kind.<BR> <BR>

The BYU Ballroom Dance Company were the first Americans to win the prestigious British Formation Championships. They have won the United States National Formation Championships for the last 26 years.
