audiences have flocked to this evening of exceptional entertainment showcasing
the city’s world-class musical talent. This extraordinary concert brings
together an array of renowned classical musicians, many from the former <st1:place
w:st="on">Soviet Union</st1:place>, who have played and recorded with The
Cleveland Orchestra and other great orchestras of the world. This
year’s Sunday, May 3rd concert begins at 7:30pm in the Mandel JCC’s

12.0pt'>This year, the Mandel JCC Arts & Culture Program is privileged to
exhibit a retrospective of the work of <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Cleveland</st1:place></st1:City>
artist Seth Chwast in conjunction with “An Evening of Classical Music &
Art.” The exhibit opens Sunday, May 3, 2009 at 6:00pm in The Mandel
JCC’s Stonehill Auditorium, and a “Meet the Artist” opening
reception begins at 6:30pm. Both are free to all concert ticket holders. The
exhibit will remain on display through May 26, 2009.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

12.0pt'>Diagnosed with autism as a very young child, Chwast, now 25, rarely
speaks but has found his voice through painting. With his innate ability to
mix colors and reflect the world around him, Chwast has garnered national and
international attention. His work has been exhibited at University Hospital of
Case Western Reserve University and at the Cleveland Clinic, in <st1:City
w:st="on">New York City</st1:City> and in the Galapagos Islands and <st1:place
w:st="on">Cayman Islands</st1:place>. Bursting with color, his art
conveys his contagious sense of joy, happiness and beauty, and his story
inspires. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
