<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">The Cleveland Play House and Great Lakes Theatre Festival announce their annual open auditions, scheduled for Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 from 10AM to 5PM at the Cleveland Play House, 8500 Euclid Avenue.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Anyone who wishes to audition is invited to do so, though the auditions will be by appointment only. Members of Actors’ Equity Association may make appointments starting Monday, April 27 at 10:00 AM. Non-union actors may make appointments starting Monday, May 4 at 10:00 AM. To schedule an appointment, please email to </FONT><A HREF="mailto:aea.cleveland@yahoo.com"><U><FONT COLOR="#0000FF" FACE="Times New Roman">aea.cleveland@yahoo.com</FONT></U></A><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">. While email is preferred, you may also call 440 779 2001. Leave your name, email address or phone number, preferred day, and whether you would prefer a morning or afternoon appointment. You will receive a reply with your appointment time. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">For the audition, you will be given three minutes to do as you wish. Most people split the time between two contrasting monologues. You are also welcome to sing. If you would like piano accompaniment, please schedule your appointment for the afternoon.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">The theatres will not see non-union children under 18. Each theatre will announce auditions for its respective Christmas presentations at a later time.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">The auditions are being generously facilitated by Actors’ Equity Association, in cooperation with Cleveland Theatre Collective. Artistic directors from other theatres which offer AEA contracts will be invited to attend.</FONT></P>
