Annual Medina Cultural Heritage Day</B>, scheduled for Saturday, August 29,
2009, from 10am to 10pm. The twelve hour event will feature international foods,
art, music, and other entertainment, as well as activities for families and a
Children’s Parade of Nations. The goal of the celebration is to promote and
recognize the rich heritage and cultural diversity of our community, to
encourage social interaction and the enjoyment of family entertainment on the

9am-5pm. The festival will be held in the historic business district around the
town square. In addition to the live chalk art demonstrations, there will be
demonstrations and classes by Asian Martial Arts, children’s activities, and fun
for the whole family. The event will be held rain or shine.</P>

College, Cleveland Institute of Art, and <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName
w:st="on">Baldwin</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName
w:st="on">Wallace</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName
w:st="on">College</st1:PlaceName></st1:place> are anticipated to participate.
Children of the community may sign up the day of the event to create chalk
drawings on the sidewalks in and around the square. </P>
