<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">The Cleveland Play House is looking for one male and one female child actor who can play a 13 year old in our upcoming production of Inherit the Wind, to be directed by Seth Gordon.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Inherit the Wind will rehearse starting September 29 and perform from October 23 until November 15. Every effort will be made for the child actors to not miss school until the production's technical rehearsals and occasional student matinees. The child actors must not be members of Actors' Equity Association, and must not celebrate their 14th birthday by November 15, 2009. There will be a weekly salary for rehearsals and performances.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Auditions will take place on Monday, May 18 at the Cleveland Play House's Brooks Theatre, from 4:00 until 7:00. Anyone who fits the above description is welcome to audition but you must have an appointment. To make one, please respond to this email with the child's name, at least one parent or guardian's name, a phone number, and a preferred time. You'll receive an email back with an exact time.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Each child actor should prepare three minutes of anything they wish; most actors prepare a monologue or two contrasting monologues. There is no music involved in Inherit the Wind.</FONT></P>
