Gary Webster,</SPAN></STRONG><STRONG><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'"> </SPAN></STRONG><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">Playwright – in – Residence, had <STRONG><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri', 'sans-serif'">“PlayActs” Performances</SPAN></STRONG>, 2006-07 dedicated to him in recognition of his extraordinary writing contributions to <STRONG><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri', 'sans-serif'">WAKE UP And LIVE’s <I>Actors’ Studio</I></SPAN></STRONG>. Gary has been working with <STRONG><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri', 'sans-serif'">WAKE UP And LIVE</SPAN></STRONG> since 1998. As a prolific sketch writer, he co-wrote <I>Harlem Blues</I> with Fox and Johnson, and was the <SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1242215381_23>head writer</SPAN> on <I>My Big, Fat Dysfunctional</I> <I>Office,</I> which was performed
in <SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1242215381_24>Columbus, OH</SPAN>, before an appreciative group of members of the Ohio Education Association. His full-length play, <I>Strictly Platonic?</I> premiered as a stage reading in <STRONG><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri', 'sans-serif'">“PlayActs” Performances</SPAN></STRONG>, 2007. More recently, Gary has penned the <I>“TV Divas”</I> <I>‘Sistahs and Their Mistahs’</I> and <I>‘The Divas Do Vegas’</I> series being performed in <B>“PlayActs” Performances.</B></SPAN><B><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt"></SPAN></B></DIV>
<DIV class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-INDENT: 0.5in; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">Gary has been writing plays since high school. The first he can remember was written in eleventh grade. It was titled "This Wasn't What I Had in Mind," and the topic was...surprise...relationships! He followed that up with parodies of several Shakespearian plays. Gary made his directorial debut <I>with Saturday Confessions, A Priest’s Tale,</I> which was performed at <SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1242215381_25 style="CURSOR: hand; BORDER-BOTTOM: #0066cc 1px dashed">Cleveland Public Theater</SPAN>. He’s been a member of Fox’s writing group for years. His playwright's training came via Bob Noll's class at the Cleveland Playhouse. <B> </B>Gary is the morning announcer and operations manager at WBKC/AM-1460 in Painesville, in addition to being a performer, essayist, and director. <B> </B>You can20find more of
