<DIV> The Painesville Women's Chorus will present a
concert entitled: "Love Beads, Bell Bottoms and Conflicts; Remembering the
60's". The concert will be held this coming Saturday, May 16th at 7:00 p.m. in
the First Church Congregational, 22 Liberty Street, Painesville
44077 (handicap accessible).</DIV>
<DIV> The Women's Chorus has the distinction of being the
longest community chorus in continual existence in the state of Ohio. They have
performed in Washington D.C., toured Europe and recently sang at the State House
in Columbus. </DIV>
<DIV> The performance is under the musical direction of
Ginny Roedig. Guest soloist for the evening is Mary Jane Carlin. Roberta Whitely
will accompany the chorus on the piano and will be joined by Jim
Tomsik, percussion, and Kevin Aylward, bass guitar. The concert will bring back
songs of the 60's, musicals of that time period, and songs of
protest.</DIV>
