The Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theatre will hold auditions for the upcoming "Theatre-To-Go"production of BEANS!, Monday and Tuesday, June 15 and 16 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at the Brownlee Woods Branch of the Youngstown- Mahoning County Libraries, 4010 Sheridan Rd.<br>

BEANS! is a rollicking, fast paced, Irish version of the classic "Jack and the Beanstalk" story. In the play, young Jack is actually a girl, "Jackie," whose mother sends her to the market place to sell the beloved family cow, "Moo-reen." But on the way, Jackie meets a swindler, "Kevin O'Crook," who tricks her into trading the cow for a bag of beans, which he insists are magic! The audience will participate in the show, to help bring the story to a happy ending.<br>

The cast requires males and females, age 10 and up, and adults of all ages. Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script.<br>

BEANS! will be performed in the daytime, Monday, August 3 - Monday, August 10 at various library sites in Youngstown and Mahoning County. For further information, call (330) 788-8739.
