<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman"><SPAN> </SPAN>The New Works Festival began in 2007 and has been developed by Jeremy Lewis (festival creator, producer, and artistic director) and Mary McManaway (NCP artistic director) with the hope to promote writers and the collaboration of theatre artists during production.<SPAN> </SPAN>In its third year, the festival has grown to include writers from across the United States, from CA on to NY, and at varying professional levels including performers, theatre magazine editors, national produced writers, arts administrators, military officers, journalists, professors, and undergrad and graduates students.<SPAN> </SPAN>The festival emphasizes the process and exploration of creating truly new plays, both the refine and rough, cultivating the voice and craft of writer, director and actor.<SPAN> </SPAN>This year
