in the northeast corner of Ohio, is seeking singers and/or bands for a 1940s
USO-style show August 21, 2009.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>For the past 10 years, a D-Day landing reenactment
has taken place at Conneaut Township Park. Historians, reenactors, veterans,
friends and family spend two days reliving history on the shores of Lake
Erie.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>This year, the Conneaut Community Center for the
Arts is planning a free USO-style show for the community and visitors on Friday,
August 21st, 2009 at 6 p.m. We are seeking 40s-style performers; big band-sound,
crooners, boogie-woogie groups, etc. Performers will be compensated for their
services. The show will last approximately 2 total hours, not including a
15 minute intermission. It will be held outside on the North lawn of the
Center, overlooking Lake Erie in the Newcomb Performing Arts Terrace -this is an
intimate venue, with a gorgeous view of the lake. A sound system is available,
but you are also free to bring your own.</FONT></DIV>
