Originally conceived by Tebelak as his Masters Thesis at Carnegie Mellon University, <b><i>Godspell</i></b></span><span style="font-family:Arial"> is one of Off-Broadway and Broadways biggest success stories of all time.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>The show, based on The Gospel According to St. Matthew, derives its title from the archaic spelling of the word gospel. Consisting of a series of skits based on the parables of Jesus and interspersed with a variety of modern music set primarily to lyrics from traditional hymns, <b><i>Godspell’s</i></b></span><span style="font-family:Arial"> timeless message remains about finding your quiet, unshakable faith amid a very loud, cold, and very often-shallow modern world.
