among the thousands of students nationally studying in the 55+ schools in the
Paul Green School of Rock Music system," explains Rick Carney, the tour's
Music Director. "The students went through a rigorous selection process in
order to secure one of the coveted spots with this elite band. This tour provides
them a real-world taste of being a professional musician while providing the
audiences an unparalleled night of great music, unlike anything they've ever

guitarist, 16 years old is a Junior at Westlake High School representing
Cleveland on this tour. Kevin has been studying at the School of Rock Music for
two years. "Playing the shows with the friends I've made here and having a
bunch of pro musicians give me tips and lessons," responded Kevin when
asked what he likes best about School of Rock Music. Kevin may pursue a career
as a musician, or a scientist, teacher or a writer.</span><strong><span
style='font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'><o:p></o:p></span></strong></p>

font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:red'>, bassist, 16 years old, Senior at Bay
High School, is one of only five female musicians chosen to perform on the All
Star Tour. Melissa explained why she enjoys playing music. She said, "I
like how everything sounds when it comes together. When I'm learning my parts I
usually don't realize the importance of them until they're integrated with
everyone else's. When they are, though, I'm usually like, 'Whoa, cool!'"
Melissa plans to pursue a career in either music or writing.<br>

The Cleveland tour stop is Wednesday, July 22 at Brothers Lounge, 11609 Detroit.
Music begins at 7:30pm with the headliners opening. Tickets for the
