The Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory (FPAC) <br>

announces its second season with Ohio Premiers of <br>

<i>Thirteen</i> and <i>EAT (It’s Not About Food)<br>

</i></b>Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory (FPAC) will present two Ohio

Premieres in its upcoming season.  The

Teen Theatre will present <b><i>Thirteen</i></b> and the Adult Professional

Theatre will present <b><i>EAT (It’s Not About Food).</i></b> <br>

<br>Fairmount Center has developed a theater

arts training and performance initiative, the 

Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory. 

FPAC manages all things theatrical with </span></span><span class="A1"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: windowtext; ">Fairmount

including youth and adult professional productions and the highly acclaimed

summer training program for young people.

FPAC’s goals is to provide high quality educational experiences with socially

and educationally relevant productions that reach out to the schools and

<span class="apple-style-span">This high-energy show follows the lives of

thirteen 13 year olds as they navigate their way through friendships, love,

popularity, honesty, and growing-up. <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"><i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Thirteen</i></b> is a show about finding out

who you are, finding out what you need, and finding out what's really

important. This was the first show in Broadway history to have an entirely

teenage cast and orchestra. The score is filled with fantastic pop/rock music!<br>

<b><i>EAT

(It’s Not About Food)</i></b> is a humorous and poignant look at the dangerous

and baffling world of eating disorders and our society’s obsession with food,

appearance and body image. <br>

<br>

<em><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";font-style:normal;mso-bidi-font-style:

italic">The play</span></em><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>candidly

explores causes and warning signs, and takes a hard look at the influences of

society and the media. The play tells individual stories of teens and adults

struggling with this epidemic and too often tragic problem. <br>

Linda Daugherty has created a remarkable play that captures the essence of the

its world premiere at the Dallas Children’s Theatre last year where it garnered

critical praise.</span><br>
