<div><br></div>Who: First Grace Arts, to benefit Community Aids Network of Akron<div><br></div><div>What: Auditions for a concert reading of "Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens", and evening of monologues and songs inspired by the Names Project AIDS quilt. </div><div><br></div><div>When: Monday, November 9 and Tuesday, November 10 at 7PM</div><div><br></div><div>Where: First Grace United Church of Christ, and Open and Affirming Congregation. </div><div>350 S. Portage Path, Akron, OH</div><div><br></div><div>Rehearsals:</div><div>Rehearsals will be scheduled one-on-one with readers at their convenience. We will have 1 final dress rehearsal on Sunday, December 13 at 5PM. </div><div><br></div><div>Performance: </div><div>One night only, Monday, December 14th at 7:30PM here at First Grace. </div><div><br></div><div>Casting:</div><div>A diverse cast of 34 readers and 4-8 singers is needed, aged 8 to senior citizen, of all backgrounds, races, genders and sexual orientations. Auditioners for reading roles will be asked to read from the script. Those wishing to audition for a singing role should prepare one pop, rock, jazz, broadway or country song that demonstrates range and personality. Please bring sheet music.
