<html><body><span style="font-family:Verdana; color:#000000; font-size:10pt;"><div>Hi everyone,</div><div><br></div><div>Acid Entertainment is still donating time and money to the rescue of homeless cats and kittens near our business. This project started with me thinking it would be good of us to do charity work in the 'off season' not just during Thanksgiving and Christmas, however, it's looking like we may be working this through the upcoming holiday season. </div><div><br></div><div>But that's ok, we won't stop until we have saved the rest of them!</div><div><span mce_style="font-size: 12pt;" style="font-size: 12pt;"><b><br></b></span></div><div><span mce_style="font-size: 12pt;" style="font-size: 12pt;"><b>My latest rescue is a male cat, young, dark gray and white, between the ages of 9 - 11 months. HE IS SUPER FRIENDLY</b></span> and in no way shape or form interested in living outside. With all cats but this one, I HAD TO WORK HARD TO TRAP THEM. This cat, who my son and his friends are calling LeBron and who I was calling Scorpio, came to my house, right to my front door, cried, and pretty much let me know he wanted taken. He moved himself into my garage before I officially caught him, and never hesitated to come right up to me. </div><div><br></div><div>MOST CATS, when caught in humane traps, have to have a 'cool down' period. Not this cat, he got stuck in the trap, looked at me, meowed, and then finished the food in the trap.He never hissed or ran around frantic. <br></div><div><b><br></b></div><div><b>THIS CAT IS SUPER SMART AND ALERT! </b></div><div><br></div><div>It is very hard to transfer a trapped cat to the larger dog crate (for me anyway!). When I was transferring this cat, we had a situation where the door slammed shut because he was being too eager to get out. I looked at him and said, "Look, I'm letting you out, I've saved you, BUT you have to LET ME LET YOU OUT. Go on, move back, move back," I told him. AND HE DID! I was in shock. He moved to the far end of the trap, but his back to the opening and let me reach in and open it again. This time when the door opened, he looked at me as if to ask, "Now?" He waited for me to tell him it was okay to move and when I gave it, he calmly walked out of the trap, didn't try to escape and went and cuddled up in the cat house waiting for him. </div><div><br></div><div>HE IS LITTER BOX TRAINED, HAS CLEAN EARS, and healthy gums. I treated him with a product called Revolution to kill all ear mites and fleas etc. Most important, he is a pet with no owner. This cat would never make it long outside as he's far too gentle. We urgently seek a good home, or a foster home because right now he has to live in the garage in the big dog crate. Although I've went out of my way to make it warm and comfy, it's still a dog crate in a cold garage. </div><div><br></div><div>WE ARE NOT AN OFFICIAL RESCUE and I live in a condo. I've already rescued 2 dogs and 2 cats living in my home. This cat is far too friendly to be left like this so I'm hoping to hear from one of you soon!<br></div><div><br></div><div>I've put out fliers to see if this cat is lost because I know for sure he was not raised in the wild. I know he's not fixed (Fulton rd. Animal Clinic will fix him for $24), however, he may be de-clawed.
