Monday, December 7, Dobama Theater’s First Mondays reading series returns
to Ciudad Juarez to take another look at the unsolved crimes against women in
PRAY FOR THE MISSING GIRLS, a new play written by Jean Cummins and featuring
Reuben Silver, Sean Derry, Jacqi Lowey, Dana Hart, Michael Regnier, Jean
Zarzour, Marcia Mandell, Tim Keo, Allison Bencar, Joe Verciglio, Aimee Cummins,
Lauren B. Smith and Roni Berenson.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:.5in;line-height:150%'><span
style='font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'>In Part 1: “Someone is Killing
the Girls of Juarez,” an American journalist travels to a Mexican border
town to investigate the unsolved crimes against women while her own daughter
wanders the streets back home. The violence continues in Part 2:
“Crossing the Border” as journalist Marion Palmer discovers the
I-45 corridor that runs between Houston and Galveston, Texas, is a kind of
Bermuda Triangle for women and girls. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:.5in;line-height:150%'><span
style='font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'>Last month FIRST MONDAYS featured
Part 1: Someone is Killing the Girls of Juarez, followed by a lively
discussion. Our December reading will reprise Part 1 and continue on to Part 2 to
deliver the full impact of this important story of our times.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:.5in;line-height:150%'><span
style='font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'>PRAY FOR THE MISSING GIRLS will be
read on Monday, December 7 at 7 p.m. in the new Dobama Theater located just
across the street from the main branch of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights
Library, 2340 Lee Road in the Cedar-Lee area of Cleveland Heights. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

reservation. The program is free although a $5 donation to defer the costs of
the reading is always appreciated. You’ll find plenty of free parking
