<span style="font-size:12.0pt">Hi Everybody!<br>

<b>FPAC (Fairmount Performing Arts
Conservatory</b>) is about to embark on its seventh summer of providing high
caliber training and production opportunities to young people and this year we
are adding some amazing new programs and staff !!!<span>  </span>Our training will once again be located at
Hathaway Brown School and our mainstage productions at Mayfield Village Civic
Center.<br>
<br>
We’ll be providing complete details in a few weeks on our website, but in the
meantime here are a few of the highlights…<br>
<br>
For the <b>Professional Training Workshop</b>,
new students will take <b>“The Core”</b>
training and students with two previous sessions of FPAC will have the
opportunity to continue in <b>“The Core”</b>
<b>OR</b> audition and/or interview for <b>“Advanced Training.”</b><span>   </span>Full or half (a la carte) day options are
available for <b>“Advanced Training!”</b><span>  </span>AND, we are expanding to eight weeks, with
three total sessions: two sessions of three weeks (June 21 – July 9, July 12 –
30) and one of two weeks (August 2 – 13). Attend one or all!<br>
<br>
<b>“The Core”</b> (6^th gr –
college) training will include acting/scene study in the mornings, and
voice/projection/diction, movement for the actor, dance and audition technique
in the afternoons – all essential skills for any actor.<span>  </span>The staff for <b>“the core”</b> will include Carol Pribble, Elizabeth Ann Townsend and
Nick Koesters.<br>
<br>
<b>“Advanced Training”</b> (see ages below)
will consist of acting/scene study in the mornings for those who opt for full
day, with the options below available for three hours in the afternoon.
Students enrolled in <b>“advanced training”</b>
take their specialty for the entire session. Most of these workshops are
available for only one of the sessions, and acceptance into these programs is
highly selective by AUDITION and/or INTERVIEW!<br>
<br>
<b>Musical Theatre Workshop – “GLEE Club” </b>(8^th
gr – college)<b><br>

<span style="color:black">We will help you become a <b><i>“triple threat performer.”</i></b> 
</span>Work on music and choreography from popular music and musical theatre
selections. Culminates in public performances.<br>

<b>Advance Acting Training through
Classical Play Production </b>(8^th gr - college)<b><br>

Learn advanced acting skills by working on an entire classical play culminating
with a performance.<br>

<b>Improv Theatre Ensemble </b>(8^th
gr college)<b><br>

Director</i><br>
<span style="color:black">Develop improv performance skills using the
techniques of Chicago’s Second City , ImprovOlympics and TheatreSports. </span>Culminates
in a public performance.<br>

Advanced Acting Training through Contemporary Play Production </b>(8^th
gr - college)<br>

Learn advanced acting skills by working on an entire contemporary play
culminating with a performance.<br>

<b>Directing Workshop - <span>“Putting it Together: A Director at Work” </span></b>(9^th
gr - college)<b><br>

Artistic Director – Cleveland Play House</i><br>
This intensive course will take the serious directing student through the
entire directing process, including the first time you read the script,
deciding its main event, script analysis, research, design, staging and working
with actors and other collaborators.<b><br>

<b>Acting Shakespeare </b>(8^th
gr - college)<br>

This workshop offers classes in speaking verse, script analysis, voice for the
stage, movement, audition techniques and stage combat.<span>  </span><br>

Explore dramatic structure, and the art of writing believable, ‘playable’
dialogue.  The workshop will end with a staged reading of scenes from your
plays-in-progress.<br>

grade and <b><i>Pride and Prejudice</i></b> is open to 7^rd grade –
college.<span>  </span>It is possible to be in both <b><i>Children
of Eden</i></b> and <b><i>Pride and Prejudice</i></b> as the rehearsals for <b><i>Pride and Prejudice</i></b> don’t
start until after <b><i>Children of Eden</i></b> opens.<span> 
</span>If you are cast in <b><i>Honk Junior</i></b> that will be your sole
production.<br>
