<P><STRONG>The Cassidy Theatre will be presenting Jonathan Larson's <EM>tick, tick...BOOM!</EM> April 9th-25th, 2010 directed by Kim Mihalik and music directed by Michael Caraffi.</STRONG></P>

<P><BR>Before the revolutionary rock musical Rent, Jonathan Larson had another story to tell... his own. <EM>tick, tick ... BOOM!</EM> is a three-chapter pop rock musical about facing crossroads in life and holding on to your dreams that was first produced off Broadway in 2001. It tells the story of young Jonathan, a promising young composer on the eve of his 30th birthday. His girlfriend wants to get married and move out of the city (tick); his best friend is making big bucks on Madison Avenue (tick); and he's still waiting tables and trying to write the great American musical before time--and life--passes him by (BOOM!). <BR><BR>Characters: <BR>Jon- 30 yrs old, tenor <BR>Michael- 30-ish, baritone <BR>Susan- late 20’s, mezzo <BR><BR>Two other players, one male, one female will be cast to play pickup roles and sing in various numbers. <BR><BR><STRONG>Audition Dates & Information: <BR></STRONG>Sunday, Feb. 7, 3-5 <BR>Tuesday Feb. 9, 7-9 <BR>Callbacks, Thursday, Feb 11 <BR><EM>Please call Cassidy Theatre for an audition appointment, 440-842-4600.</EM> </P>

<P>Actors should prepare a song from a contemporary musical; songs from <EM>tick, tick...BOOM!</EM> are fine as well. <BR><BR>Rehearsals will begin the final week in February. Performances run Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm.</P>
