Scott Lax just completed his second novel, Village Triangle, which is currently
placed with Brandt & Hochman Literary Agents, Inc., and awaiting a book
deal. His first novel, The Year That Trembled, was called “Powerful,” and named
one of 1998’s best works of fiction by The Denver Post. Lax was awarded the
Walter E. Dakin Fellowship in Fiction Award from the Sewanee Writers’
Conference for the novel, which was the Vermont Novel of the Year, runner-up. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

Lax was source-writer and producer for the feature film, The Year That

2007 Ohio Excellence in Journalism Awards. Scott was the 1993 Bread Loaf
