down into playable beats and actions, from start to finish. It will introduce a
way to read a play that makes it truly theatrical, that anyone can do. Required reading for the class will
be Backwards and Forwards, by David Ball, and Hamlet, by William Shakespeare.</span></p>

A dance audition can be a very threatening thing. This workshop is
designed to give you some inside tips on how to go into that audition with
confidence. The workshop dance portion will be a class in all the
important basic. Center floor work, traveling across the floor,
combinations, ballet and jazz moves that are sure to be used, leaps and turns and
simple partner steps will all be covered. Also during this workshop
attention will be paid to alignment, posture and flexibility. To
ease the non dancer into the audition process the workshop will cover dance
terminology, dance class etiquette, how to prepare, what to wear and hoe to
“put your best foot forward”. The first two hours will be all dancing,
during the lunch break there will be discussion about how to prepare, followed
by another hour of combinations, and partner work.<br>

skills, learn techniques to think quickly on your feet and to be more

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Seth Gordon</span></b><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""> is Associate Artistic Director
of the Cleveland Play House. At the Play
House, he produces FusionFest, helps with season planning and casting, runs the
Playwrights’ Unit, and directs plays. His Play House directing credits include <i>Dinner with Friends, Proof, Forest City </i>(world
premiere), <i>Vincent in Brixton, Tuesdays
with Morrie,</i> <i>A Christmas Story</i>, <i>RFK, Of Mice and Men, The Chosen, Doubt, The
Lady with All the Answers </i>and <i>Inherit
the Wind.</i> He has also directed in Cleveland for Dobama Theatre, the
Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, and the Beck Center for the Arts. He recently
directed the Arabic premiere of <i>Our Town </i>in
Cairo. Previously, he served as Literary Manager and then as Associate Producer
of Primary Stages in New York, where he produced and/or directed countless
productions, workshops and readings of new plays by this country’s leading
playwrights. He has also directed at many other New York theatres, and has
directed and lectured at various universities including Case Western Reserve
University. He received the 2004 and 2006 Northern Ohio Live Award for
Excellence in Theatre. He considers himself a lucky man.<br>

<strong><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black">Bebe
Weinberg Katz, B.A., M. Ed. </span></strong><span class="apple-style-span"><span style="color:black">is an artist and an educator.</span></span><span class="apple-converted-space"><span style="color:black"> </span></span><span class="apple-style-span"><span style="color:black">She has danced, choreographed,
staged, designed, directed, taught, written and illustrated. In all of these
capacities her mission statement has been simple and constant. "Art flows
in two directions. It is both my passion and my honor to take it in and send it
out."</span></span><span style="color:black"><br>
<br>
<span class="apple-style-span">As an educator Bebe has taught dance to children,
teens and adults in the public schools, the Jewish Community Center, in her own
dance and fitness studio, in private dance studios and Camp Wise. Bebe holds a
masters degree in exercise science along with a B.A. in dance and has created
many fitness and wellness programs throughout the Cleveland area. Most notable
is her development of the aerobics program and the pre/post natal exercise
program at the JCC and the creation of a group exercise instructor training
program for Cleveland State University.</span><br>
<br>
<span class="apple-style-span">On the University level Bebe is a faculty member
at Baldwin-Wallace College and Cleveland State University. Her courses include:
movement education classes for early childhood majors, group fitness instructor
training, women’s wellness seminars and dance methodology and pedagogy. <br>

Music Man, Hello Dolly, Anything Goes, Pajama Game, Pippin, Peter Pan, Wizard

highlights of Doug’s career have been - working with Anne Bogart at her SITI
company workshop in 2003; producing the critically acclaimed production of <i>Northeast Local</i> at the Red Room in New
York City in 2005; co-writing the screenplay for the Stephen King adaptation of
<i>The Man Who Loved Flowers</i> in 2006; and
acting in the award-winning production of <i>Boom</i>
at CPT in 2008. Currently, Doug is co-writing
a complete album of pop/rock songs with Allison Bencar, which will be released
this spring. Amidst all of this creative
activity, Doug continues to run the Broadcast Department at The Talent Group,
the region’s largest franchised talent agency.

She is a graduate of Columbia University in New York City where she lived,
worked, and studied as an actress for 22 years. She has performed in nearly all
of the major venues in Cleveland. Most recently, she was seen as the mother in
The Cleveland Play House's production of<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><em><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">A Christmas Story</span></em>. She was
a featured player in HBO's hit series "<em><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The
Sopranos</span></em>" and NBC's<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><em><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">"Law & Order."</span></em><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>She has also been featured in numerous
independent films and has been a principle player in many national network
commercials.</span></p>
<p class="style10"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black">Elizabeth's
training in New York includes: 3 years with The American Stanislavski Theatre,
3 years of Meisner training and advanced scene study with Wynn Handman of The
American Place Theatre and 3 years of advanced training with Alice Spivak, a
protégé of Uta Hagan.</span></p>
<p class="style10"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black">As
a teacher, Elizabeth began coaching actors in New York City. In Cleveland, she
has taught commercial acting for The Cleveland Play House and Shaker High
School, Film Acting for the Cleveland School of the Arts. She is one of the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
Conservatory teachers at The Beck School of the Arts. She will be working with
teenagers this winter/spring in the Curtain Pullers series at The Cleveland
Play House.</span></p>

is thrilled to be a part of FPAC 2010. Marc has appeared in the Broadway

ALONG. He most recently appeared as Senex in A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY
TO THE FORUM at Porthouse Theatre and in the Great Lakes Theatre Festival
