<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>A powerful evening
of original works of drama, story and poetry created and performed by women in
transition. Established in 1999, the Women's Voices Project is a collaboration
between Cleveland Public Theatre and the Elyria YWCA's Women's Campus Project.
Women's Voices connects Campus Project residents with the tools of creative
expression to help them achieve independent living and recover from domestic
violence, addiction and other adversities. Following performances at Cleveland
Public Theatre and the Elyria YWCA, the women tour their work to area shelters,
recovery centers and prisons.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Under the
guidance of CPT Education Director Chris Seibert, Women's Voices participants
have worked with gifted local artists<span style='color:black'> Deborah Burke,
Sheffia Randall Dooley, Faye Hargate, Bridget Kriner, Jan Snow and Elizabeth R.
Wood.</span><br>
<br>
Together, the artists and the residents have engaged in writing and dramatic
activities to improvise and verbalize stories that are born from the truth of
difficult life circumstances.“The women who take the stage in the Women’s
Voices Project are some of the most courageous women in our community. They are
doing the most difficult work a person can do: self-exploration with a
commitment to personal transformation,” says CPT Education Director Chris
Seibert. “When the women share their stories publicly, audiences leave changed
as well. It’s such a powerful night at the theatre.”<o:p></o:p></span></p>
