National Repertory Dance Company returns to Chagrin Falls with an
energetic and eclectic evening of contemporary dance! Verb Ballets
serves up the feisty Ballroom piece “Lady Be Good,” choreographed by
champion dancer Gary Pierce. The evening includes “Urban Study,” a
contemporary ballet by Ginger Thatcher (Lars Lubovitch, Cleveland San
Jose Ballet Company), the stirring solos “Lamentation” from dance legend
Martha Graham, “Poverty Train” from Ernie Horvath, and Troy McCarty’s
“Scent.” The evening rounds out with an elegant pas de deux, and the
super-charged “Speed.”<br><br>A co-presentation of Verb Ballets and
