objects required to break the spell, swindling, lying to and stealing from

In James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award winning fracturing of
fairytales, everyone's wish is granted but the consequences of their actions
return to haunt them later, with disastrous results. What begins a lively
irreverent fantasy in the style of "The Princess Bride" becomes a
moving lesson about community responsibility and the stories we tell our

tells the story, in song and dance, of the annual gathering of Jellicle cats at
which time one special cat is selected to ascend to the Heaviside layer. From
the composer of <i>The Phantom of the Opera, Evita </i>and<i> Jesus Christ
Superstar</i>, this landmark show is pure entertainment from start to finish. A
true musical theatre phenomenon, <i>Cats</i> ran for a record-setting 21 years
in London and just over 18 years on Broadway. <o:p></o:p></p>
