prepared to enter the college of their choosing.  By focusing on rigorous,

</i>Dance Academy exists to train students in the art of dance and equip them
with the skills needed for entry into college. The program, available
to all skill levels, provides students the opportunity to explore various
styles of dance, express themselves creatively, and develop the technical
foundation and physical conditioning needed to progress into more advanced

classes in modern dance and ballet will prepare students to excel technically
and artistically.  To reap the greatest benefit, students are strongly
encouraged to take classes in both modern dance and ballet as well as to
explore various styles of dance from different cultures and eras. 
Excellence in performance will be developed through a presentation at the end
of each term.  Taught by the area’s top professional dancers,
the Dance Academy’s course offerings emphasize discipline, commitment,

They will initially be part of Jazz<i>Prep, </i>and over time will be guided
into the Jazz Studies program where they can apply to participate in the
All-Stars for college credit through the PSEOP program.  The Tri-C Jazz
All-Stars are one of the top bands in Ohio, and boast alumni who have gone on
to Juilliard, Berklee College of Music, and Oberlin Conservatory, among other
world-class programs.  Internationally renowned recording artists Dominick
Farinacci and Sean Jones both started in the Tri-C Jazz All-Stars.  The
All-Stars perform regionally in venues such as PlayhouseSquare, Tri-C JazzFest
