<P style="MARGIN: 0px" class=MsoNormal>Wooster--- The Wayne County Performing Arts Council (WaCPAC) will hold auditions for the musical <I>The 1940s Radio Hour</I> on<SPAN>Tuesday, Oct. 19, 7-9 p.m. and Sat., Oct., 23, 10 a.m. to noon at the Best Western, </SPAN>located at 243 E. Liberty Street in Wooster</P>

<P style="MARGIN: 0px" class=MsoNormal>The <I>1940s Radio Hour</I>, by Walton Jones, tells the story of a group of actors, singers and musicians who are performing a live show in a small radio station <SPAN><SPAN style="COLOR: black">from the Hotel Astor's Algonquin Room on December 21, 1942. The play will be directed by Laurie Schang.</SPAN></SPAN></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0px" class=MsoNormal> </P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0px" class=MsoNormal>Actors will be asked to sing and give a cold reading from the script. Piano accompaniment will be provided. A CD player will also be provided for actors bringing their own musical accompaniment.</P>

<P style="MARGIN: 0px" class=MsoNormal><SPAN>There are 13 parts in this show, 9 men and 4 women: </SPAN><SPAN>1 male character around 18 years old, </SPAN><SPAN>1 female character also around 18 years old, </SPAN><SPAN>1 male character in his mid 50s</SPAN><BR><SPAN><SPAN style="COLOR: rgb(40,40,40)">All of the other characters are adults over 30. Some actors will also have to dance.</SPAN></SPAN></P>
