                Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Welcome to 2011 and
                another fantastic year of entertainment from Chagrin
                Valley Little Theatre. Following the absolutely wild
                December we had with <em>Annie, Gingerbread Tea,</em>
                and the Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra bringing
                Christmas Cheer,<em> Hillary: A Modern Greek Tragedy
                  with a (somewhat) Happy Ending</em> bringing laughs,
                and <em>Decades of Divas</em> getting the toes tapping
                for New Year's Eve, we are looking forward to a welcome
                bit of breathing room in our calendar this month.</font>
            </p>
            <p align="justify"><font color="#000000" face="Arial,
                Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">The main stage
                production of <em><a
                    href="http://cvlt.org/81stSeason/bloodymurder.php">Bloody
                    Murder</a></em> opens on the 14th, and the Youth
                Theatre commences its next session on the 8th. Our River
                Street Playhouse will host <a
                  href="http://yourhometownchagrinfalls.com">Your
                  Hometown Chagrin Falls</a> on January 11. Also, CVLT
                will be acting as a ticketing outlet for the January 29
                performance of the <a href="http://www.chagrinarts.org">Cleveland
                  Jazz Orchestra</a>, brought to you by the <a
                  href="http://www.chagrinarts.org">Chagrin Foundation
                  for Arts & Culture.</a></font> <font
                color="#000000" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"
                size="2">CVLT's outreach program, Accent on Youth, will
                continue to be active in January at West Geauga, Solon
                and Mayfield schools, presenting social and relationship
                issues under the coordination of Julia Kolibab. </font></p>
            <p align="justify"><font color="#000000" face="Arial,
                Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">The CVLT Board of
                Directors will meet this month at <a
                  href="http://www.hamletretirement.com">Hamlet Village</a>
                to discuss various long-term planning issues, with Lisa
                Kraemer serving as moderator. This process is invaluable
                to CVLT as the Directors fashion improvements in
                direction and mission, and implement programs for the
                Theatre's Capital Campaign initiative, which will be
                highlighted throughout the New Year.</font></p>

                    <p><font color="#000000" face="Arial, Helvetica,
                        sans-serif" size="2">Playwright Ed Sala offers
                        up a twisted whodunit in <em>Bloody Murder</em>,
                        a play that turns the murder-mystery genre on
                        its head. Premiering at Akron's Weathervane
                        Playhouse in January, 2009, this
                        fourth-wall-breaking spoof opens on January 14th
                        at CVLT.</font></p>
                    <p><font color="#000000" face="Arial, Helvetica,
                        sans-serif" size="2">The wealthy Lady Somerset
                        has assembled an unlikely group of guests for a
                        weekend at her lavish countryside estate. The
                        attendees represent the usual murder-mystery
                        suspects; we meet a middle-aged maid, a far-too
                        innocent ingenue, an enigmatic and
                        well-preserved countess, a self-glorifying
                        Major, the ne'er-do-well nephew and an actor of
                        former acclaim. </font></p>
                    <p><font color="#000000" face="Arial, Helvetica,
                        sans-serif" size="2">Sure enough, one of these
                        people meets a mysterious and violent end. But
                        Lady Somerset takes an unusual turn by refusing
                        to call the authorities (although the bumbling
                        police chief eventually arrives) and she insists
                        that she and her guests are simply characters in
                        a mystery story who must rebel against their
                        author. The players and their writer enter into
                        a wild battle of wills that delivers plenty of
                        laughter and a surprising end! </font></p>
