
<html><body><span style="font-family:Verdana; color:#000000; font-size:10pt;"><div>On New Year's Eve I was out trying to catch a lost kitten- instead of catching the kitten I caught a 15 pound male gray cat. He's beautiful, all gray with a light white splash on his chest. </div>

<div>Based on his demeanor I know he was a DISCARDED pet and NOT A FERAL CAT. He's scared and really hates the cage more than any cat I've rescued. However, he's sweet and enjoys the time I spend with him. </div>

<div>This cat has been traumatized. I need to get him in a house ASAP otherwise I fear he'll soon regress due to his obvious fear of being caged. </div>

<div>Two days after being caught via humane trap, he was taken to a vet to be altered and vaccinated. On the way he got out of the carrier and was loose in my car! Upon arrival he had to be caught in a net and carried in that way. This scared him big time. </div>

<div>I found out later that he was left in the net for a long period of time, and not placed in a carrier until his neuter surgery. This really freaked him out. I dropped off a calm sweet cat and picked up a very frightened and timid one. </div>

<div>I was hopeful however because I had a home for him that night and knew this would calm him down. I was happy he could recover in a warm house rathar than a cage in the garage. Well, his bad luck wasn't over and it turns out one of the kids in the house was highly allergic to him and I had to pick him up less than 24 hours later and put him back in a cage in the garage. </div>

<div>All this stress is too much for this poor cat. He's a gentle giant and deserves a good home. He is neutered and is up to date on shots. PLEASE, IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT COULD GIVE HIM A GOOD HOME, or foster him until I find a good home? HE JUST CAN'T HANDLE THE CAGE...</div>
