opportunities to perform. You may choose to audition for a speaking role, or
specify that you would like to sing, dance, or puppeteer
only.</FONT></FONT></DIV>
<P align=left><FONT face="Book Antiqua" size=3>Here are some helpful tips to the
audition requirements:</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT face="Book Antiqua" size=3>#1 <STRONG>Do</STRONG> be
prepared to sing 16 bars of an up tempo song or a ballad. We would like to
hear your range, so please sing something you are comfortable with that
showcases your voice. <STRONG>Do NOT</STRONG> go find some obscure sheet music
that you think <STRONG>the director</STRONG> might like. Suggestions
of music: R&B, Gospel, The Wiz or Similar show tunes, etc…</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT face="Book Antiqua" size=3>#2 <STRONG>Do</STRONG> be
prepared to dance. There will be some choreography to learn that will mix
several styles. Please warm up while waiting and wear loose fitting
clothing<STRONG>. Do NOT</STRONG> come in cold off the street in skinny
jeans that are likely to rip.</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT face="Book Antiqua" size=3>#3 <STRONG>Do</STRONG> be
prepared to act. For those interested in speaking roles, sides are provided
below. Please select text that best “fits” you and be familiar with it.
<STRONG>Do NOT</STRONG> read the text for the first time during the
audition.</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT face="Book Antiqua" size=3>#4 <STRONG>Do</STRONG> be
prepared to show off. For those of you, who have a specialty in a particular
dance style, juggling, twirling, or acrobatics, be prepared to show your stuff.
<STRONG>Do NOT</STRONG> attempt something that you have not tried before and may
require medical attention afterwards.J</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT face="Book Antiqua" size=3>#5 <STRONG>Do</STRONG> be
prepared to puppeteer. If you are interested in operating a large scale or
shadow puppet, please let me know. Mock-ups should be available to manipulate on
your audition day. <STRONG>Do NOT</STRONG> come dressed as a
puppet.</FONT></P></DIV>
