Her two teenagers struggle in a world of their own. Margot's husband Tom tries to reach out, her mother-in-law Beverly tries to take over, and her best friend Jane tries to fill in. <em><span style='font-family:"Franklin Gothic Book","sans-serif"'>Mother/Tongue</span></em>, in its repressed and overt madness, examines what happens when we don't see or discuss what is right in front of us, and when we fail those we love the most.
