wealthy spinster and her cockney maid take a beautiful Connecticut
summer home in 1931. When they arrive, all the help has quit, except for
a very odd butler who tells them that something "strange" is going on.
They are soon joined by other guests and as they settle in for the
night, someone tries to break in, a gun shot is heard and a total
stranger is
found lying in the middle of the living room. Then another. A very
austere detective arrives and things get REALLY strange... and funny. A
tuneful, hilarious romp that's part mystery, part drawing room farce and
all musical. <br><br>Cast of Characters<br>Men:<br>Thomas Johnson - a very English butler with glasses, a mustache and an impressive pompadour.<br><span style="border-bottom: 2px dotted rgb(54, 99, 136); cursor: pointer;" class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1296590608_3">Jack Bailey</span> - Sally’s handsome young friend from school.<br>Reggie Armstrong - a dead body<br>Mr. Jarvis - the austere local detective, perhaps with a pencil mustache.<br>A <span style="border-bottom: 2px dotted rgb(54, 99, 136); cursor: pointer;" class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1296590608_4">Mysterious Stranger</span> - a formidable bald man of 60.<br><br>Women:<br>Carries Innes - a wealthy, stylish American woman of about 50 on holiday.<br>Liddy Allen - her difficult Cockney maid (not the least bit stylish) of about the same age.<br>Sally Innes - Carrie’s pretty niece in her 20’s.<br>Zara - a fortune telling <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1296590608_5">gypsy woman</span> in full
regalia who is also the groundskeeper.<br><br>GENERAL INFORMATION:<br>Audition

Auditions will be held at Clague Playhouse, 1371 Clague Road, Westlake. <br><br>Production Dates: <span style="border-bottom: 2px dotted rgb(54, 99, 136); cursor: pointer;" class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1296590608_8">May 6 - May 28, 2011 on Thursdays</span>, Fridays and <span style="border-bottom: 2px dotted rgb(54, 99, 136); cursor: pointer;" class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1296590608_9">Saturdays at 8:30pm</span> and <span style="border-bottom: 2px dotted rgb(54, 99, 136); cursor: pointer;" class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1296590608_10">Sundays at 2pm</span>.<br><br>Please bring an audition photo and résumé. Auditioners will be asked to
