Akron’s
professional theater company, follows up the wildly successful <i style="">Romantic Fools</i> with another comedy.<span style="">  </span><i style="">Becky’s
New Car</i> by playwright Steven Dietz asks the question: “If a handsome
millionaire thought your husband was dead, how much trouble could you get into
before he and your husband found out?”<span style=""> 
</span>The comedy will open with a preview performance on Thursday, February 10<span style="color: black;">,</span> followed by the official
opening on Friday, February 11.<span style="">  </span>The play
will run Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sunday afternoons at
2:00 PM through February 27 at the theater on the 6<sup>th</sup> floor of
Greystone Hall in downtown Akron.<span style="">  </span></span></p>

boring life.<span style="">  </span>All of that changes when a
millionaire walks into the dealership one night when Becky is working

Actors' Summit
for the opening weekend of <i style="">Becky's New
Car</i> are Charles and Benita Staadecker.<span style=""> 
</span>Charles & Benita collaborated with ACT theater and playwright Steven
Dietz to commission this play as a present for Benita’s birthday.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Actors' Summit is hosting a pre-show talk on the
topic of "commissioning art" with the Staadeckers on Saturday,
February 12th at 7:30 PM prior to the 8:00 PM performance.  There will be
a post-show reception with the couple who will be joined by the cast and
artistic staff following Saturday night's performance.</span></p>

Theatre at Ashland University and is spending his Senior Faculty Study
Leave doing 2 productions for Actors’ Summit.
 Ric was last seen as Mark Twain as part of Actors’ Summits’ American
Mirrors Festival.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black;">Bob Keefe </span></b><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black;">is an Actors’ Summit veteran having appeared in <i style="">A Christmas Carol,</i> <i>Tremont</i>, <i>Spoon
River Anthology</i>, <i>Picnic</i>, <i>Cotton Patch Gospel</i>, among others.</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"><br style="">

Kline-Messner </span></b><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black;">is a proud
member of Equity and was seen earlier this season in <i style="">A Murder, A Mystery, & A Marriage</i>.<span style="">  </span>At Actors’ Summit she has performed in <i>Wine, Women
& Song </i><span style="">and in <i>Charlie’s
Aunt</i></span>.<span style="">  </span>Paula has appeared all
over the country in G-Four Productions’ <i style="">Menopause,
The Musical</i>.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black;">Mark Leach, </span></b><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black;">a newcomer, to<b>
</b>Actors’ Summit<b> </b></span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black;">is currently working towards a B.A. in
Acting Performance at Kent
 State University.
 He has performed in productions including <i>Equus</i>, <i>Urinetown</i>,
<i>The Shape of Things</i>, <i>The Crucible </i>and <i>Measure for Measure </i>at
Ashland University. </span></p>

<b><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black;">Anne McEvoy </span></b><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black;">is making her first appearance at Actor’s
Summit. Anne
recently<span style="">  </span>performed in Ensemble Theatre’s
<i>Dividing the Estate</i> and is currently rehearsing <i>Insomnia</i>, a new
work being produced by the Cleveland Public Theatre this coming April.  </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black;">Casey Novak </span></b><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black;">is making her Actors' Summit debut.  A senior theatre major at
Kent State, Casey will graduate summa cum

onstage as Martha in <i style="">Play 13</i> of the
Chester Cycle and in <i style="">May 4<sup>th</sup>:

Combustion</i> and toured through out the Midwest.
 Tony appeared with Actors’ Summit

Tony was Ellard Simms in Porthouse Theatre’s production of <i>The Foreigner</i>.
