The concert is directed by Nancy Davis, LCCC’s Director of Choral Music Performance.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Tickets are $7 for general admission; $6 for LCCC students, staff and Buckeye cardholders; and $5 each for groups of 15 or more. Tickets are also available at the box office, located in the lobby of the Stocker Arts Center.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The concert will feature the famous choral movement, “Ode to Joy,” from Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 9 in D Minor.” Guest soloists include Janine Porter, coloratura; Sandra Ross, mezzo-soprano; JR Fralick, tenor; and Timothy LeFebvre, bass-baritone. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The Ninth Symphony, often called the Choral Symphony, is Beethoven’s final and most extensive work. It has two main themes: brotherhood of mankind and love of God.
