Audition will be held on April 17 from 1:00-3:00pm at Ohio Dance Theatre located at 39 South Main Street in Oberlin, OH 44074. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Company members have two performances annually and perform in local Festivals and Community Outreach programs. Members also have the opportunity to participate in Ohio Dance Theatre’s annual production of “The Nutcracker” and select dancers are invited to perform with the ODT professional company in rep concerts and other programs. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Dancers between ages 15-19 may also apply for the Lawrence Scholarship on the day of audition Applications are available online at <a href="http://www.ohiodancetheatre.org">www.ohiodancetheatre.org</a>. The DVD audition requirements are:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>A 15-20 minutes demonstration of barre and center technique. <span lang=FR>Please include <i>pliés, battement tendus, battement jété</i>, <i>ronde de jambe, passé</i>, <i>développé en croix, grande battements</i> and balances on one leg for barre. </span>The center technique should include <i>adagio, pirouettes, petite allegro</i> and <i>grande allegro</i>.
