Clarissa Donovan (mid-twenties) has invited an old friend, Richard Latimer (mid-twenties), to her home for the weekend. To her consternation, Richard’s visit coincides with her sister, Lydia (late teens, early twenties)’s return from a stay in a mental institution. The girls’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donovan (late forties-fifties), are displeased, to say the least, when they find Richard in their home, as Clarissa did not inform them of his impending visit. The plot thickens when Lydia’s former boyfriend, Paul Trask (mid-twenties), is murdered, and Richard slowly realizes that his presence in the house at the time of the tragedy has left him in a precarious position indeed…for the Donovans will stop at nothing to prevent the outside world from discovering what really lies below the surface of their family’s well-polished façade…<o:p></o:p></SPAN></B></P>
