<P><FONT color=#40007f size=4>WHAT IS THE FESTIVAL? </FONT></P>
<P><FONT color=#40007f size=4>The festival began over 30 years ago in honor of Marilyn Bianchi and her devotion to inspiring creativity in young people. It is the oldest of its kind in the country. Approximately 10-12 plays will be produced as part of the festival. The plays are winners of a playwriting competition for students in grades 1 through 12. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT color=#40007f size=4>Winners of the teen plays will be produced as part of the Night Kitchen. Many directors, actors, and tech people work together to create a special celebration of the talented writers from schools in Cuyahoga County!</FONT></P>

<P><FONT color=#40007f size=4>WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?</FONT></P>
<P><FONT color=#40007f><FONT size=4>There will be roles for all ages and all types. You may request to be cast in only one play or you may be cast in several. You can audition for just the Night Kitchen or you can audition for the main plays and the night kitchen plays.</FONT> </FONT></P>

<P><FONT color=#40007f>WHO IS DIRECTING?</FONT></P>
<P><FONT color=#40007f>Each play will have a different director. Some of the directors are Bernadette Clemens, Joyce Casey, Dana Hart, Greg Cesear, Lynna Metrisin, Julia Kolibab, Dan Kilbane.</FONT></P>

<P><FONT color=#40007f>No preparation is necessary, you will be reading from the scripts.</FONT></P>

<P><FONT color=#40007f>WHEN IS THE FESTIVAL?</FONT></P>
<P><FONT color=#40007f>The festival dates are June 9th - 12th. Evening performances of the main plays will be at 7:00 on thurs, fri and sat, and there will be matinees at 2:00 on sat and sun. The Night Kitchen plays will perform on fri and sat at 9:30 p.m. and on sat and sun at 4:30 p.m.</FONT></P>

<P><FONT color=#40007f>WHEN ARE REHEARSALS:</FONT></P>
<P><FONT color=#40007f>Rehearsals will be arranged with each director and their cast, and will be held at Dobama Theatre or in the Cleveland Heights Library.</FONT></P>
