The intimate setting allows for a careful discovery of the play, which helps bring the more subtle nuance of the verse into focus. Clear, easily heard, and right up front for the combat, the humor, the eerie incantations, and the savage cry of the Macbeths and their victims. This production is the result of a year-long rehearsal and intense study of acting Shakespeare.<BR><BR>Macbeth is considered the most concise and darkest of the Shakespeare's four tragedies. The play </SPAN><SPAN style="COLOR: black">tells the tale of the heroic Scottish general, Macbeth, and his successful but ill-fated quest for the throne of Scotland. In the play, Macbeth (<I>Ryan Stafford</I>) and fellow general Banquo (<I>Austin Murray</I>) are visited by three witches, who prophesy that Macbeth will become Thane of Cawdor and then King of Scotland. As first part of the prophesies begin to come true, Lady Macbeth (<I>Laurel Nichole</I>) persuades her husband to murder King Duncan (<I>Ricky Vannelli</I>) and become King sooner - rather than later. This bloody deed sets off a series of more bloody deeds, as Macbeth’s ambition and quest for power grows. Believing to be invincible, Macbeth faces off with Macduff (<I>Sean Grandillo</I>), and is ultimately defeated. Macbeth is a highly theatrical and hair-raising </SPAN><SPAN style="COLOR: rgb(15,0,0)" lang=EN>tragedy about the lust for power its bloody repercussions.</SPAN><SPAN style="COLOR: black"></SPAN></FONT></P>

<P style="COLOR: rgb(0,0,0)" class=ecxstyle6 align=left><FONT class=ecxApple-style-span face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The training students encounter at the Academy challenges them to know themselves as creative and imaginative individuals. The discoveries and procedures essential to creativity on the stage, are equally vital to all human beings in their daily lives. The courage to create, the confidence to stand calmly before others in stressful situations, the facility to be expressive, the sense of play that makes one young at heart, the wisdom to see the big picture, the rare and essential skill to communicate clearly, the sensitivity to find meaning in relationships and the business of life - these are all real-world benefits of the training at the Academy. <BR><BR>2010-2011 marks the third year of the program. During the school year, student's study a wide range of performing arts courses for a half day (morning and afternoon) at the the new Chagrin Falls Performing Arts Center.</FONT></P>
