Now come see them in person at Stocker Arts Center on Monday, May 16 at 7:30pm. The current members may not be the originals from 1963, but this amazing eight-voice a cappella group, complete with their own vocal rhythm section, have a sound that remains unmistakably theirs.</span><span class=smalltexta1><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNoSpacing><span class=smalltexta1><br>The original swingle singers group was formed by Ward Swingle in Paris in the early 60s. There have been changes in the group over the years, but this a cappella group is as wonderful now as it ever was. The swingle singers were featured in the pilot episode of the hit show <b><i>Glee</i></b>. You can still hear them performing during closing credits!<br><br>The swingle singers have performed all across the UK, the United States, Asia, and virtually every country in Europe. They have released over 50 recordings, and have won five Grammy Awards.
