premier concert series featuring dance works by Artistic Director Kelli Sanford
and performances by local dancers. <SPAN

concert of eclectic and dynamically charged dance works on the main campus of
The University of Akron’s Daum Theater (Kolbe Hall). The concert feat<A
name=_GoBack></A>ures solo and group works that will entertain and intrigue the
audience. RED will perform Friday, October 28, 8:13pm, Saturday, October 29,
8:13 p.m., and Sunday, October 30, 3:13 p.m. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

performance program is the work WEEDING, a dark portrayal of the concept of
“survival of the fittest.” This work explores how individuals can work together
to achieve a goal, but how conflict and turmoil can take over one’s self when
greed and selfishness enters the heart.<SPAN

with an edgy twist to a child’s dolls. This work will make one think twice about
the cute inanimate and innocent personalities of toy dolls. A whirlwind of
surprise and twists, this work will be sure to have its viewers to remember to
treat their toys with care and respect. Doll owners beware!

inspired by the Aboriginal Culture and environment of Australia. The program
also includes BELOW HORIZON ABOVE, a beautiful soothing work filled with imagery
of water and the flight of birds, AVALANCHED HEART, a compelling solo based on
the emotional turmoil of one’s heart in a relationship, and BLANK CANVAS, an
eclectic work that was inspired by the late artist Jackson Pollock.
