Foluké Cultural Arts is committed to making performing and visual arts, and arts education available to all particularly those who live in underserved areas.<SPAN> </SPAN>The programming of Foluké is family oriented with focus on at-risk children and youth.<SPAN> </SPAN>The goal is to serve as
a catalyst for improved academic achievements by providing alternatives to negative behaviors by instilling discipline, self-pride and boosting self-confidence through self-expression and self-discovery.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=yiv1533191643MsoNormal>Classes will be held at various venues in the Central Area during after school hours weekdays (<SPAN id=lw_1319545912_3 class=yshortcuts>4 – 6 PM</SPAN>, beginning January 2012), during the summer 4 – 6 weeks <SPAN id=lw_1319545912_4 class=yshortcuts>10AM – 3PM</SPAN>, and in and out of school fall 2012(tentative): Will also consider resumes of teaching artists in music - instrumental or voice (choir), design arts, and media arts.</DIV>
